Where are you if you are standing at the oche and throwing bombs at the black dog?

ANSWER:

Howdy, J.!

An old-time cowboy probably wouldn’t recognize the term “oche,” since the throwing line in a game of darts was more commonly called the “hockey” line prior to the last part of the twentieth century. A “bomb” is a large or heavy dart, and the Black Dog is the center bullseye, or “Double Bull.”
